I've decided I wont draw anything until I get all my schoolwork done...so...
See you when school is over for me~! hahahah we'll see.
Hmmm... I've been watching some new anime lately and the latestone I've gotten into is called Natsume Yuujin-Chou (sp?) I've always been into that slice-of-life genre of anime after my fix of shounen/action anime has been fixed... and I guess I can thank Love Hina for doing that to me (dammit...).
Anyways, I think Natsume Yuujin-Chou is a real jewel. Each episode (except for one cliffhanger) always ends with a heart-warming tone. Food for my soul if you'd like for me to cheese it that way. Also the designs for some of the youkai (monsters/ghouls) look like they've been inspired by Miyazaki Hayao's work (Studio Ghibli).
And...since i've always been into the paranormal, I haven't really seen it at this light before.
I'd always think of brief and horrific encounters when dealing with the paranormal... as well as
how it's been depicted here in the U.S. and film. Yet, Yuki MIDORIKAWA's vision puts a mix to these encounters. Some peaceful, some horrific in terms of actually physical confrontation with these creatures.Yet, the way the main character interacts with the youkai is very strange because of the sense of normality in their interaction.
Anyways, I'm babbling on, but yeah... check it out. You wont be disappointed....unless you're looking for that hyperactive, action, fast-paced, techno-beated intro anime.....desu.
PEACE OUTSIDE~~~
